Ma'am Shirley - Cordillera Mountains
This special micro-lot from the indigenous communities of the Cordillera Mountains in the Northern Philippines is gaining international recognition; praised for its sweetness and flavor notes of brown sugar, coconut, currant. Ma'am Shirley Palao-ay of Benguet Province placed 7th in the 2021 Philippine Coffee Quality Competition for this coffee, which is grown with care, using a screened cloth to ensure cooler shade and a slower, more thorough fruit ripening.
Ma'am Shirley - Cordillera Mountains is a unique coffee crafted from Bourbon variety beans, originally introduced to La Reunion by French missionaries in the 1700s, from Yemen. For 150 years, bourbon was cultivated exclusively on this island in the Indian Ocean. In the mid-1800s, the plant was spread to Africa, Latin America, and the Pacific as colonial ambitions grew. In the early 1900s, Brazilian breeders selected the best-performing plants from the natural mutation of the Bourbon variety, the Caturra, and propagated their seeds.
Ma'am Shirley shared that to produce a premium quality of coffee, one must be meticulous throughout the production process, from picking the best berries up to roasting the beans.

We ship by the US postal service and find that our packages arrive in 2-3 days from when they are shipped. We ship within 48 hours of receipt of an order not counting weekends. We charge actual shipping rates of the US Postal service, however, for orders over $50, shipping is free.
Returns and Refunds:
Can I get a refund?We truly expect you to enjoy our product, however, if you are dissatisfied for any reason, here is what you do. Because we roast to order, the following rules apply:
If you are not pleased with the product, you must notify us within 21 days of receipt of your order.
- We will be happy to refund the cost of your purchase, or replace with an equivalent product. To receive a refund or replacement, unused portions of coffees must be returned.
- Shipping costs will be refunded at the original cost to ship to you.
- If the product is deficient, bag is broken, etc. we’ll get you a new one.
- To request a return, please contact us at info@boondocksroasters, including your order date, name on the order and which coffee(s) you would like to return and why.
What happens if my package is never delivered or is returned to you?
If your package has gone missing or has been returned to us, please contact us and we will do our best to resolve the issue in the most appropriate manner possible.
We have no way of knowing about these issues unless we are notified and we are more than willing to work toward a mutually beneficial solution when these errors occur. If you provided an incorrect address we will charge you to reship your order.
